This guide was published in 1999. Fortunately, research has advanced significantly in recent years, both in terms of understanding the disease and its treatments. Therefore, in the Publications section, you will find updated information reviewed by our medical advisor, Dr. Norberto Gómez (Rheumatologist).
Our concern didn't end with the publication of the Guide, and little by little, the idea of publishing a manual on inflammatory spondyloarthropathies took shape. A larger project, but with the same objective as the Patient Guide: wide dissemination, easy understanding, and a reference manual for both patients and professionals.
